If address someone intelligently and respectfully they will do whatever they can to help you and make things better. You behaved badly, you will be remembered as not a very nice person. I ordered from the Boise, ID Overland KFC 09/09/20 at 12:20pm. I ordered the 3 pc chicken box and a side order of fries, I declined the drink. When I got home there was no coleslaw and no fries but there was fry sauce. I called the store to complain and when I tried to explain my problem the man told me to calm down. I said I am not going to calm down until you listen to me and he hung up on me. I called back & the same man answered so I asked for the manager. He told me he was the manager, he also told me that there were only four people working to which I replied that it was not my problem and do not tell me to calm down or hang up on me again, He also told me that combos do not come with coleslaw. To which I replied that I did not order a combo but the 3 piece chicken box and the menu says it comes with slaw in 2 different places. I told him he did not know his menu very well and he told me again to calm down. He told me to come back back for the fries and I informed him that I would come in the next day and that I was not hanging up on him I was saying goodbye and did so and then hung up.

KFC in Asheboro NC has been consistently good with superior customer service since my relocating here 30+ years ago. Recent changes due to new COVID-19 rules and regulations have everyone behaving differently with the exception of a few of us of a different faith of course, making a different atmospheric climate as expected. Overall this KFC is withstanding this panic better than most public service workers, so it’s appreciated. Your staff has maintained some manners and kindness while continuing to get most chicken fully cooked, and most orders correct. Good job under pressure. Please assure everyone that we WILL get through this together. Regardless of religious belief or lack of, as I’m not religious but am a follower of the teacher of Jesus Christ, our Creator should have our trust and faith. Yes, my family and a neighbor have been taken so I’m well aware of the dangers of this virus so we must remain cautious. Yet life with loving kindness towards each other will help towards healing more than life with panic and bitterness. KFC employees displays this more than any drive through I’ve bought through, including my own pharmacy. Thank you for hiring employees with faith. Nobody has to say at this point, as the fear in the face on non believers sadly identifies those we need to pray for without judgment but with compassion. We will all die the first death eventually if it’s God’s will. God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of understanding and wisdom to prepare.
Thank you ALL for the delicious food! My friend is gone to KFC to pick up our dinner right now. I’d gladly recommend y’all anytime to anyone and often have. 🙂
