Westfield Garden State Plaza retailers are generally OPEN on New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (MLK Day), Valentine’s Day, Presidents Day, Mardi Gras Fat Tuesday, St. Patrick’s Day, Tax Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Cinco de Mayo, Memorial Day, Independence Day (4th of July), Labor Day, Columbus Day, Halloween, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Eve.
The majority of Westfield Garden State Plaza stores and restaurants are CLOSED on Easter Sunday, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Christmas Day. Stores close early on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Due to Bergen County blue laws, this mall is CLOSED ON SUNDAYS. If a holiday falls on Sunday, Westfield Garden State Plaza will be closed.
Holiday hours will vary at JCPenney, Lord & Taylor, Macy’s, Neiman Marcus, and Nordstrom. Since these anchor stores have their own entrances, they will open early and/or close late on select dates.
